Friends of RFKM
The Friends of Ruddington Framework Knitting Museum have their own constitution. This is an independant organisation and its purpose is to offer support to the Museum both financially and in other ways.

Those who wish to support the Museum but do not have spare time to offer as a volunteer can become Friends and thus make a valuable contribution to the Museum and its future.Qualifications are few - to become a Friend you must be over 18 years of age and wish to support the work for the Museum by paying an annual subscription.

What does a Friend do?

Museums like ours need money, and Friends play an important part in raising awareness, acting as ambassadors, and organising fundraising events. The Museum may wish to acquire a particular piece of equipment or an interesting artefact - without the help of the Friends this may not be possible.

What benefits does a Friend receive?

Free entry to the Museum and several issues per year of Museum News. There is also a 10% discount on Museum-produced goods and publications. The minimum annual subscription is £5.00 (UK), £7.00 (overseas)
